Failing? Read me...

Anyone who gets an 85 or better 4th MP average AND a 90 or better on the Regents Exam will receive a passing grade for the course.  For some, this is your very last chance to earn course credit & avoid summer school or repeating the course next year.  As a reminder, you do not pass the course just because you pass the Regents Exam.

Here is the quote from NYS regarding this, & the link for the state website:
In accordance with Section 100.5(a)(5)(v) of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education (http://www.p12.nysed.gov/part100/home.html), passing the Regents Exam in a subject shall not be construed as having earned a unit of credit in that subject unless the student also passes the course as offered in a registered high school.
